Il convento di S. Antonio Abate, costruito nel 1572, fu lasciato dai frati cappuccini nel 1604 a causa delle imposizioni dei Signori che abitavano l'adiacente castello. Nel 1888 fu acquistato dai frati minori che interrottamente lo abitarono attirando la simpatia del popolo e conquistando numerose vocazioni. Alla chiesa ad unica navata si accede da un portale settecentesco di grande valore artistico. Opera notevolissima il quadro che raffigura la storia del dogma dell'Immacolata, considerato il capolavoro dell'artista P. Jerone da Gangi. Altra pregevole opera dello stesso autore è il trittico di S. Cristoforo, S. Giorgio e il Crocifisso collocato nel presbiterio.
Built in 1572, St. Anthony Abbot friary was left by capuchins in 1604 owing the commands of the lords who lived the adjoining castle. In 1888 was bought by friars minor and they live it continually so that they drew the well-liked of people and they captured a lot of vocations. At the only nave church it may enter by a seventeenth century portal of a great artist value. The most remarkable work is a painting portraying the Immaculate Conception dogma history, estimated the masterpiece of the artist Jerone from Gangi ofm. Another his work is the triptych of St. Christopher, St. George and the Crucified placed in presbytery.
